Te āheinga / The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering business and technology initiatives across the organisation. In this role, you’ll help shape how systems and processes evolve by gathering, analysing, and translating business, technical, and data requirements into clear, actionable solutions. Working closely with process owners, leads, and subject matter experts, you’ll map and improve processes, support solution design, and ensure changes are implemented effectively. Strong communication and time‑management skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet delivery deadlines.
You’ll lead discovery activities to understand current workflows, identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes, and ensure requirements are well defined to support successful solution delivery. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to project and change management activities across the full lifecycle—coordinating tasks and timelines, supporting project documentation and reporting, managing risks and issues, and helping embed new systems and processes through effective communication, training, and adoption support.
Building strong relationships across the organisation will be central to your success, acting as a trusted liaison between business units and technical teams and providing informed guidance on process improvements and system enhancements. You’ll also support testing activities to validate solution functionality and champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and project practices, while contributing to documentation and standards that support best‑practice business analysis and project delivery.
