Te āheinga / The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to complete the implementation of our new Human Resource Information Systems and Asset Management domains. This role is full-time, fixed term through to the end of August 2026. This is your opportunity to drive meaningful change by replacing legacy systems with modern, technology-enabled platforms that will transform how our organisation works. You’ll be at the helm of a high-impact programme applying proven project management methodologies to deliver on time, within budget, and to scope—while inspiring a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
This role is all about connection, clarity, and driving change with purpose. You’ll lead the charge on communications, fostering an environment where collaboration with key stakeholders is at the forefront of each step along the project. Your Project Management skills will ensure internal stakeholders are able to balance project demands with existing work programs through effective resource planning.
You’ll take ownership of a comprehensive project plan and steer critical workstreams—from business change and data migration to service design, deployment, and post-launch support. If you thrive on bringing people together, translating complexity into clarity, and making transformation feel seamless, we would love to hear from you.
He kōrero mōu / About you
To thrive in this role, you will bring over 8 years of experience inleading complex projects and will have exceptional communication skills. In addition, you will also bring the following:
- A relevant degree qualification in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Business Administration etc)
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid approaches)
- Strong planning, scheduling, and budgeting skills coupled with risk management and mitigation planning expertise
- Change management and stakeholder engagement including experience with HRIS and Asset Management systems and their business impact
- Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and service transition
- Vendor and contract management experience
