Te āheinga / The opportunity

We are excited to offer a brand-new opportunity for a dynamic and strategic leader to shape the future of data and information management within our organization. As the leader of this function, you will champion best practices in data and information management, fostering a data-driven culture through education, training, and robust policy development. You will drive the creation of governance frameworks, quality assurance protocols, and reporting mechanisms that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across the full data lifecycle. Your work will span the integration of spatial and non-spatial data, the implementation of secure and interoperable systems, and the continuous improvement of data processes to enhance quality and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in aligning data architecture with strategic goals, ensuring that data is not only well-managed but also a powerful asset for decision-making.

You will lead a small team of Information Management and reporting professionals and GIS Analysts. This is a rare chance to make a considerable contribution by setting the strategic direction for a critical function from the ground up. You will collaborate across departments to embed strong data governance practices, support digital transformation initiatives, and build a high-performing, customer-focused team. If you are passionate about data, innovation, and leadership, and ready to shape how we manage and leverage information, we’d love to hear from you.
